310 items of E-Class Positive Geometry Inserts have been added to the ISO range for High Precision and Small Parts Machining

MITSUBISHI MATERIALS CORPORATION, Metalworking Solutions Company has added 310 items of positive geometry E-Class inserts to the ISO range for high precision and small parts machining.
The new items will be available from July 1st.

In recent years, the demand for high-precision machining of small parts made from stainless steel and difficult-to-cut materials has increased due to the miniaturization of parts.

310 new items of positive geometry E-Class inserts have been added to meet the needs for higher precision machining.

The main features

  • Expansion of the range of PVD cemented carbide grades for stainless steel and difficult-to-cut materials.

  • Expansion of the grades for a wide range of work materials such as steel and non-ferrous metals.

  • The choice of inserts for a wide range of applications from finishing through to intermediate cutting, with a focus on the SRF type chipbreaker, which is excellent for finish machining.
  • Set the corner radius to a minus tolerance.
  • Technology that provides superior dimensional stability and reduces burrs.
