September 1, 2022MITSUBISHI MATERIALS CORPORATION Metalworking Solutions Company (Company President: Tetsuya Tanaka, Address: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has added the GS chip breaker for inserts with lead angles of 8° and 15° from the GY series of cutting off and grooving systems. These new additions will be released on September 1st.
The GY series of grooving tools is highly rated for machining grooves on outer and inner diameters and end faces by combining various holders and inserts.
MITSUBISHI MATERIALS is pleased to announce the addition of the GS chip breaker for inserts with 8° and 15° lead angles. These are ideal for low feed, cut off machining and reducing the size of the centre pip whilst also achieving good surface finishes.
