The Leading drill series is a range of drills for centering and chamfering. The solid carbide DLE type is highly regarded in the marketplace, mainly for machining on small automated lathes.

Mitsubishi Materials developed GKCD by utilizing its long standing HSS technology. It achieves an excellent cost performance ratio on low feed and speed applications. It is ideal for use on small automatic lathes when deburring a through hole that remains after parting off a component.

Main features of cobalt HSS drill GKCD for centering and chamfering:

1. HSS Cobalt material is used for its excellent heat, wear and chipping resistance and is ideal for use over a wide range of materials, from carbon through to stainless steels.

2. Achieves an excellent cost performance ratio on low feed and speed applications.

3. Three types of point angle, 60°, 90° and 120°, are available for a wide variety of machining applications
