Mitsubishi Materials has announced the launch of the ASX300 series, a new smaller size generation of the established ASX400 series. The smaller series incudes milling cutters designed to deliver stable, high-performance face and shoulder milling even under demanding cutting conditions. The ASX300 combines advanced cutting-edge geometry with a downsized, multi-tooth design to significantly improve productivity, surface finish quality and machining efficiency.

The new coated MP3115 and uncoated MX3115 cermet grades for turning steel are engineered to deliver exceptional finishing performance, combining superior dimensional stability, high quality surface finishes and dependable wear resistance in demanding machining environments.

Mitsubishi Materials will have a strong presence at this year’s AMB exhibition with a booth in Hall 1, Booth C42. Visitors will find the latest generation of high-tech tooling and special application areas.
