La série MP1200 de Mitsubishi Materials est composée de trois nouvelles nuances de fraisage en carbure à revêtement PVD. Elles sont conçues pour améliorer la fiabilité des process d’usinage en apportant une solution spécifique aux mécanismes d’usure courants, comme la fissuration thermique, l’usure en entaille, l’usure en cratère et l’écaillage d’arête.

MMC Hardmetal Europe Holdings acquiert U.F.P. s.r.l.
Meerbusch/Allemagne, le 1er avril 2025 – MMC Hardmetal Europe Holdings (MHE), une société du groupe Mitsubishi Materials, Metalworking Solutions Company, a annoncé aujourd’hui l’acquisition de U.F.P. s.r.l. (UFP), l'un des fournisseurs les plus importants et les mieux établis en Europe dans les domaines du reconditionnement et de la conception d'outils sur mesure pour les outils de coupe.

Mitsubishi Materials has launched an innovative range of small boring bars for Swiss type automatic lathes. The whole series of these new boring bars are available in both solid carbide and steel. The inclusion of both types provides a choice for end users and provides the benefits of deeper boring capability due to the extra rigidity of the carbide type.

Mitsubishi Materials has developed three new grades of inserts dedicated to the machining of stainless steels. MC7115 for light cutting, MC7125 for general machining and MP7135 for heavy cutting applications.

Mitsubishi Materials has recently expanded the VQCS chipbreaker series of carbide end mills to include an exceptional, new extra-long type in square and corner radius styles. The extra-long version, introduced together with long and semi-long flute length types are supplied in square and corner radii geometry. The existing series of the square corner long type is boosted with the addition of larger Ø16 mm and Ø20 mm sizes.

Mitsubishi Materials have added the new and innovative RX1S exchangeable head reamers to their line-up. These reamers are full of features for easy, cost effective and accurate reaming over a wide range of different applications.

Mitsubishi Materials has launched a dedicated range of tool holders to complement the huge range of geometries and types available in the iMX series of solid carbide exchangeable end mills.

The popular MC6100 range of inserts has been expanded to include MC6135, a tough grade for applications ranging from continuous turning through to rough and interrupted cutting. This new grade will complement the existing range and provide end users a choice to machine a vast array of steels and of different applications. MC6135 utilises Industry-leading crystal orientation control technology that enables thinner but still impact-resistant coatings that provide improved chipping and wear resistance. Such features are optimal for use on the tough MC6135 grade. Additionally the coating is 50 % thinner compared to previous types.
