Mitsubishi's cutting tools and bodies highlighting next generation technology in carbide substrates, advanced geometries and coatings will also be prominently displayed. 

Amongst the main highlights on show  will be the brand new, comprehensive range  of high performance threading taps. From the Mplus  range, the M-Taps feature machine and cold forming roll types suitable for a large range of threading applications.   

The new and versatile series of insert grades,  MP1200, the latest type for machining efficiency in milling applications will also be featured. Together with the LC2005 grade of inserts for turning nonferrous metals, will represent a state-of-the-art  selection of inserts from Mitsubishi.

Also on the stand will be the solutions from the group company MOLDINO Tool Engineering Europe GmbH. In a dedicated area, the extensive range of high-quality end mills from MOLDINO will be shown, covering indexable and solid carbide end mills alongside advanced drilling and thread milling technologies designed for mold and die applications. In addition, MOLDINO will present its Production50 process optimization, including System Solutions that combine high-performance tooling with in-depth technical consulting.

These solutions enable the creation of optimized, application-specific milling processes delivering measurable gains in efficiency, reliability, and cost performance. Real application workpieces will showcase the results achieved with Production50, highlighting the added value created through the close collaboration between technical expertise and high-performance tooling.

Mitsubishi's Circular Economy Service Area will be highlighting exciting areas of service and sustainability, such as project engineering and special tools, recycling and top-class tool reconditioning and remanufacturing services as well as advanced production capabilities in Europe.

A particular highlight will be the importance of material recycling. Here customers can find details of the collection and reprocessing of used carbide tools. This provides cost benefits for the end user and has an extremely positive effect on the environment by saving valuable new natural resources.

Another key area focuses on Mitsubishi Materials' European capabilities in tool reconditioning and special tools manufacturing. A modern reconditioning service helps customers gain more usage of existing tools and the fast turnaround and delivery times matches the efficiency of the other services in the circular economy portfolio.

Furthermore, there will be extensive information available on Mitsubishi Materials’ European manufacturing plant and the advanced technology and education centres (MTEC). 

A machining expert from Mitsubishi Materials Tools Europe will be making a presentation at the VDMA Technology
Forum on September 16th at 11:00 am. The presentation will be about the future of aerospace machining and how to push the limits of tools and materials in a cost effective way.
