Information about Tool Data Platform

MITSUBISHI MATERIALS is promoting compliance with the ISO13399 and also strengthening data registration through the global tool data platform. This platform provides precise, especially assembled 3D CAD data of indexable cutting tools through the MachiningCloud website.

Past forms of cutting tool 3D CAD data did not contain any data pertaining to the assembly of necessary components such as tool holders and inserts, thus requiring complex CAD operations.

After connecting to this database from a computer or tablet, customers can quickly acquire CAD data and dimensional specification data of tens of thousands of cutting tools free of charge and in a matter of seconds, by simply selecting the name of the cutting tool product based on the ISO 13399 and GTC*2 standards.
Please feel free to visit the platform and see the ease in which you can select tools and set machining conditions.
