WSF406W: Indexable face milling for cast iron - Mitsubishi Materials has added a indexable insert face milling cutter to its extensive range of high performance tools. The new WSF406 is a series of cutters for face milling applications. Featuring economical double-sided inserts with 8 cutting edges, WSF406W has been manufactured to the highest standards to meet all the requirements of a modern face milling cutter.

BC8210 coated PCBN grade. Next generation technology for hardened steel turning - Mitsubishi Materials has developed a new and innovative coated PCBN insert grade, BC8210. In doing so it has extended its comprehensive range of turning inserts. The grade incorporates the company's state of the art coating technology that provides outstanding wear resistance, as well as providing a product that improves productivity and usability.

VFR end mills series expansion: super small diameters 0.2 mm - 0.5 mm - When it comes to the machining of hardened steel, Mitsubishi Materials already has a reputation that places it as one of the leaders in this market sector. To further emphasise this market position, the company has expanded the VFR2XLB series of ball nosed long neck end mills. These new sizes are in the micro range of diameters from Ø 0.2 mm to Ø 0.5 mm and the complete range extends up Ø 6.0 mm.

ASPX Series - New HSK shanks and advanced MP9140 grade for titanium alloys: To emphasise the strength, high power and large metal removal capability, the ASPX series has been expanded with two new, integrated HSK one piece shank types. The ASPX series now has also a new advanced grade, MP9140, to add extra performance and reliability.

New multi-flute VQN end mills: VQN, the top of the range series of carbide end mills from Mitsubishi Materials now includes 2 new innovative types. These latest additions have been designed for specialised applications in Nickel-based heat resistant super alloys such as Inconel.
