MC6115 has the combination of a high hardness base material and new thick Al2O3 outer coating with improved wear resistance at high temperatures. It also has higher peeling resistance and cutting edge stability achieved by super TOUGH-GRIP technology. This provides the ultimate enhancement of the adhesion between the Al2O3 and TiCN coating layers.

The special purpose DWAE drills have been designed from the outset specifically for drilling in the confined spaces of Swiss type and automatic lathes.

Mitsubishi Materials has expanded its comprehensive range of premium insert grades for turning. BC5110 is a specially coated CBN type specifically for machining grey cast irons such as GG25 and GG30. Whereas the MH515 grade is a CVD coated carbide grade designed for cast austenitic stainless steels as well as ductile cast iron.

Mitsubishi Materials has added a versatile indexable insert milling cutter to its extensive range of high performance tools. The new WWX400 is a series of true 90º corner milling cutters for face, shoulder and copying applications.

The VPX200 & 300 range of tangential, indexable insert milling cutters from Mitsubishi Materials has been expanded to include new, long edge types. These long edge types expand the application area to include deeper shoulder and pocket machining and complement the recently launched sharp geometry L-breaker inserts for the VPX200 type.
